The Long and the Short of Presidential Candidates’ Websites

In the coming months, millions of voters will be scouring the campaign websites of Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton to learn about their stances on the issues. Clinton weighs in on no fewer than 32 subjects she believes require strong and extensive federal action, beginning alphabetically with “addiction and substance abuse” and ending with “workforce skills and job training.” Trump’s website lists only seven – so either he thinks the federal government is too involved in our lives or, more likely, he hasn’t thought much about key aspects of public policy.
