More Mixed Voucher Results in Ohio

A new report on Ohio’s school voucher program was less-than-glowing. But here’s a little-discussed possible reason for the disappointing findings: Private schools often use curriculum similar to those found in public schools, and often require their teachers to obtain the same training and teaching degrees common in public schools. We already know such degrees don’t magically produce excellent teachers nor increase their knowledge of the subjects they teach.
