Russian Airstrikes Continue as Russia Claims that Moderate Rebels are U.S. Myth - The war of word between the two coalitions fighting ISIS continues. John Kerry claims that the Russians are killing civilians and U.S. backed rebels, while Russia claims that the U.S. claims were reported before Russian jets had taken off. All the while, the chance of defeating ISIS gets slimmer and slimmer. But the Russians raised an issue that we have heard before; that the U.S. was not being honest about our Syrian Allies.

The Oregon Shooter Targeted Christians - As a Christian, I know that there has always been persecution. Though it is not a reality for me currently, I know that my brothers and sisters around the world face it on a daily basis. And though it does not touch me, I also know that Christ warned his disciple that they should expect opposition and persecution. So, that an angry, awkward student would take out his rage on a group of Christians should not surprise us, especially with the trend of Christian bashing that is occurring in our culture today.

Putin Continues to Dominate Obama as Russia Begins its War on ISIS in Syria - The current conflict between the USA and Russia is all a bit confounding. On the one hand, we should be happy that we finally have some REAL help in fighting the terrorists in the Middle East. On the other hand, Russia is using the terrible problems in Syria, Iraq and Iran to make themselves stronger while simultaneously weakening us.  Lt. Col. Ralph Peters appeared on Fox News to discuss these issues on Wednesday morning, and the Obama administration is not going to like what he had to say.

A Must See Video for Understanding Stupid Liberal Tax Ideas - Some time back, the brilliant minds at Prager University developed a wonderful video to help explain America’s idiotic progressive tax code. The video explains our nation’s ridiculous tax system with a simple story about three brothers, and it is wonderful. “The Progressive Income Tax” is one of those economic terms that gets bandied about, but few actually know what it means or how it works. This tale of three similar brothers with three different incomes (but one shared expense) helps explain the tax system under which we live. Adapted from an article by noted investor and economist, Kip Hagopian, and narrated by actress Carolyn Hennesy of “General Hospital” and “True Blood” fame, this animated story will change the way you think about how you pay your taxes.
