The Ring Makes All the Difference

Mike Adams| Jan 05, 2015

Nearly five years ago I got rid of cable television so I could get into a regular routine of reading one book per week. Because I read so much, I occasionally get into a rut and have to ask friends if they have read anything interesting lately. Last summer, a friend who we’ll call Larissa (because that’s her real name) recommended a particularly good book by Glenn Stanton. As you might assume by the title, The Ring Makes All the Difference is an overview of the deleterious effects of cohabitation. Much of what Stanton reports in his short yet comprehensive book makes intuitive sense. But there are a number of ill effects of cohabitation that are, if not counterintuitive, at least somewhat unexpected. For example:

My Take - I try and do my best to post articles, or links to articles, I feel are profound and provocative in an attempt to give those who believe in the long term beneficial effects of traditional values the intellectual tools to defend those values.  Values which are constantly under attack from the left, a movement that's presented alternatives that have been disastrous to humanity in every arena where they've imposed their irrational, misanthropic and morally defective views going back to the French Revolution. This may be the most important article I link this whole year because the family - properly defined as a man, a woman and their children - is the foundation for a stable society. We wonder at the unstable world we see and yet fail the see the underlying cause of so much of it. A breakdown of the traditional nuclear family.

One more thing.  American universities are an intellectually diseased breeding ground for disaster. That's the very first thing the government needs to stop funding. Make all colleges and universities self-funding and then we'll see just how many socialist and leftist professors and administrators are "left" at these institutions. For that matter - how many institutions are left, especially those institutions that encourage these young and dumb kids into taking on massive student debt in order to attain degrees in worthless studies such as 'gender politics'.  Studies that are not only financially worthless, but destructive to the traditional values that make a society stable.

That’s nothing but greed and corruption by the universities.
