The Media is Thoroughly Corrupt!

 On September 5th Brent Bozell wrote an article, WhenChild Sex Abuse Isn't News, discussing a child sex abuse ring in Rotherham, a city in Northern England, noting, “the United Kingdom is ablaze with the official discovery that in the northern English town of Rotherham, at least 1,400 children were groomed for sexual exploitation and rape, even gang raped, some as young as 11 years old.  They were beaten, raped by multiple perpetrators, trafficked to other towns and cities in the north of England from 1997 to 2013 abducted, and intimidated”.  “Some children were doused in gasoline and threatened with being set on fire if they reported their abusers, others were forced to watch rapes and threatened with the same fate.”  These were “vulnerable” white girls from “largely disadvantaged backgrounds” who had been brutalized by groups of men of Pakistani origin – and we now find the authorities in England looked the other way while this sexual abuse of children was going on, and the authorities looked the other way!  Why? 
 

In about a third of the cases child protection agencies knew about it and informed the police who refused to act. Why?   Some officials found it convenient to believe social workers were “exaggerating”, and others were afraid of being accused of racism.  So now being politically correct is far more important than protecting those least able to defend themselves against such monstrous behavior.  The official report accuses these morally dead officials of deliberately ignoring “a politically inconvenient truth” by ‘turning a blind eye to men of Pakistani heritage grooming vulnerable white girls for sex.”’ When victims came forward the police often regarded them “with contempt.”  This can be, and has been, described as “blatant” failures of the political and police leadership.  Which of them is to be prosecuted, hopefully right along with these Pakistani monsters?

 

This story has broad significance because it exposes the media’s priorities , as Bozell notes, “five years ago, Pope Benedict arrived in London to erupting controversy…..people took to the capital's streets for a rally against the Holy Father's "intolerance," and….the child abuse scandal for which so many hold the pontiff personally responsible, for both accelerating it and then covering it up."  The media was outraged and pledged “to never let up with the noisemaking” over this kind of thing.  Rightly so I might add!

The fact that these sexual abuse crimes in the church are 40 year old crimes doesn’t change the fact these are still monstrous crimes, and should have been a center of controversy from the media.  Especially since this involved a large Christian organization with its moral foundation rooted in Judaic/Christian principles.  However, this monstrous criminal activity in England was going on up until 2013 from those who profess to be Muslims, and whether this represents Muslim thinking or not, in Western lands this is considered – rightly so – the most heinous of sexual crimes, destroying the lives of these young innocents. No matter who’s doing this the media should be at the top of the scream fest, but it isn’t! 

He reports:

“in America, the same TV networks over the last dozen years have filed hundreds of noise-making stories slamming decades-old allegations of child abuse in the Catholic Church -- suddenly they can't find this story with two hands. There's been nothing on ABC, CBS, NBC or PBS.  A Nexis search can't even find any. transcripts mentioning the story on CNN or MSNBC, and just one on Fox News.

We’ve been exposed to hour after hour of media attention on NFL commission Roger Goodell’s "failure" to “properly” punish a player for abusing his wife, yet nothing is said of this outrage against these innocent children.  I keep asking: What illegal thing did Goodell do that justifies this kind of coverage?   

Admittedly, the NFL’s priorities could easily be said to be out of whack, but when did it become the NFL’s responsibility to fix the world’s social problems?  I’ve come to the conclusion that when the NFL started these suspensions it put itself in a position to be a target of every leftist nut job on the planet, and their loony allies in the media.  Maybe the NFL should consider ending all suspensions for anything.  If someone does something illegal in the NFL, then let them report it to the authorities and let them deal with it.  Fixing social problems really isn't the NFL’s job, and they're not equiped for it.  Touchdowns are their job and they are equiped for that!   

 

If a private corporation is now being required to “fix” social issues involving their players personal conduct, then let’s expand this and require all public and private employees be drug tested and fired for failing drug tests and deal with their domestic problems in an approved manner.    

Do I approve of this thug, Ray Rice, treating his wife in the way he did?  Of course not!  He’s just another spoiled grownup who plays a kids game better than most for obscene amounts of money. But why is the NFL and Goodell in the news unendingly over this when these heinous crimes against children are being ignored?  Why?  Because the media is as corrupt as these officials in England!  They’re so politically correct wife beating is ‘HUGE’ while these sixteen years of sexual abuse of children by Muslims isn’t.  

So whose priorities are really all out of whack?
