As you read this Lead Story I would like everyone to ask themselves why Hollywood has so many "fellow travelers" supporting Castro. Celebrities such as Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Jack Nicholson, Chevy Chase, Harry Belafonte, Kevin Costner, Stephen Spielberg and far more, all raving about what a great man Castro is and his "genius". As one Cuban intelligence defector Delfin Fernandez said: "My job was to bug theirhotel rooms," “Most people have no idea they are being watched while they are in Cuba. But their personal activities are filmed under orders from Castro himself." Cuban Intelligence Aggressively Recruiting Leftist American Academics as Spies,
Influence Agents - Sexual entrapment a common

Cuba’s
communist-led intelligence services are aggressively recruiting leftist
American academics and university professors as spies and influence agents,
according to an internal FBI report published this week.
Cuban
intelligence services “have perfected the work of placing agents, that includes
aggressively targeting U.S. universities under the assumption that a percentage
of students will eventually move on to positions within the U.S. government
that can provide access to information of use to the [Cuban intelligence
service],” the five-page unclassified FBI report
says. It notes that the Cubans “devote a significant amount of resources to
targeting and exploiting U.S. academia.”….. Two …Cuban spies were Walter Kendall Myers, a State Department
Foreign Service contractor who worked for Cuban intelligence from 1979 to 2007,
and his wife Gwen Myers. They were recruited after visiting Cuba. Walter Myers
was a leftist who criticized “American imperialism” in a diary entry after
visiting Cuba. He held a top-secret security clearance and in 2010 was
sentenced to life in prison after a conviction for spying…….In some cases, the Cubans use
compromising video or audio and sexual entrapment to develop U.S. spies.
“Ultimately, when the
time is right, the plan will be executed and the targeted individual will be
approached and formally asked to help the government of Cuba,” the report said…..To Read More…..

Back to bad schools - America’s 50 million schoolchildren have returned to their classrooms with
pencils sharpened, crayons neatly organized (for the one and only time) and, in
some places, iPads charged. Like their parents and grandparents before them,
they will bustle through hallways
lined with lockers and backpacks laden with textbooks, and they will walk into classrooms
with roughly 25 of their peers to sit and listen to a teacher work through a
curriculum passed down by a central bureaucracy. If, in one of their physics
classes, they invented a time machine and traveled back 100 years, the society
they would see would be utterly different from that of their own epoch. Just
about the only thing they would recognize would be their school……student population has increased by 96
percent, the total number of staff has jumped 386 percent. Troublingly, this
overall number is driven primarily by administrative, non-teaching staff. While
the number of teachers rose by 252 percent, the number of bureaucrats on school
payrolls ballooned by a whopping 702 percent. In 2009, Scafidi found that the
United States had one teacher for every 15.3 students, but one staff member for
every 7.8 students. These twin phenomena
of rising costs and a boated corps of non-teaching staff lead to a clear
diagnosis of what ails American education. It is a sclerotic bureaucracy that
serves itself rather than the students for whom they supposedly work. This
intransigent army of administrators lacks the ability to adapt to changing
times, and it stifles the creative capacity of educators.

Last Wednesday, at a ceremony to appoint Texas lawyer Shaarik Zafar to
be special representative to Muslim communities, Secretary of State John Kerry
said it was the United States’ Biblical “responsibility” to “confront climate
change,” including to protect “vulnerable Muslim majority counties.” Kerry
said Scripture, in particular the Book of Genesis, makes clear it is our “duty”
to protect the planet and we should look at Muslim countries “with a sense of
stewardship of earth,” adding, “That responsibility comes from God.” And here
you thought all along that “Uncle Joe” was the resident crazy in the Obama
administration. I must say, it is always interesting to watch a liberal attempt
to play theologian. Obama did it with homosexuality and now Kerry is playing it
with climate change. They certainly have no problem using religion when it’s convenient
to advance one of their crackpot agendas yet it is demonized at every other
opportunity for things that really matter to the rest of us. The world is aflame and the absolutely last
thing I am concerned about when it comes to the Muslim world is how “climate
change” may or may not affect them.…..

Lies About Benghazi Debunked - I have been waiting impatiently for Congress to hurry up
and resume. I am looking forward to the mid-term elections. I want Harry Reid
out of his position as Senate Majority Leader as soon as
possible. There are over 300 bills
collecting dust on his desk. But...Justice for Benghazi is
the primary reason for my impatience. I know that most of the 'interviews' will
be behind closed doors, but with Trey Gowdy's spit and fire, we will hear the
highlights. I would give just about anything to be in the room when Gowdy gets
Hillary nailed to the wall. I'm hoping for criminal charges
and serious jail time. I know it is not a realistic expectation, but I can
always pray. I think it is going to come down to the wire with Eric
Holder. I hope Gowdy can get Holder after
Holder leaves office. Then neither Hillary or Holder will have the protections
of their former positions. They do not deserve any special considerations.
Valerie Jarrett is another major player I hope gets nailed. She was in the
Situation Room watching everything happening, in REAL TIME. She was the one who
issued the first of three "STAND DOWN" orders……I want to see these
traitors perp walked in handcuffs.

Beware of the UNTakeover of American Water Supplies - Millions of
children under five die every year due to toxic germ-infested unsafe drinking water.
This means that almost four babies a minute die from a lack of water according
to UN-Water's estimations. In the 2014 World
Water Report released on the eve of World Water Day, the UN said
that 768 million people do not have adequate access to water, 2.5 billion do
not have access to improved sanitation. Among the deprived are a significant
number of people in Detroit. It would seem that the problems of the third world
are being visited upon Detroit and soon the rest of the country.

A Response to Janet Murguia - Every now and again, there are things that happen that
causes a "ranting" or the "pitching of a hissy fit" or what
some would call a "conniption." Today's little fit is courtesy of
none other than National Council of La Raza Spokeswoman Janet Murguia. In an
interview with MSNBC's Jose Diaz-Balart, Murguia had this to say regarding
Obama's promise of amnesty. Lady, you need to go get a copy of the Constitution
and read it. This is not a
dictatorship, despite what this piece of fungus in the White
House is trying to do to this country…….You speak of a "dereliction of
duty" by Republicans; yet, you advocate further dereliction of duty in
expecting a president to circumvent the legislature in granted
"amnesty." Lady, you are a hypocrite typical of the left-leaning
trash that litters this country and one of the "useful idiots" being
paraded about in order to hasten the downfall of this republic. You neither
care for the law nor support the "rule of law." Get over yourself.

cave-in on Medicaid is shortsighted - As heavy lobbying by the hospital industry intersects
with immediate political considerations, a growing number of Republican
governors are caving in to Medicaid expansion through President Obama’s
healthcare law. In the process, they are imposing massive and unnecessary financial burdens
on taxpayers. Expanding Medicaid is one of the key ways that Obamacare is seeking to
increase the number of insured Americans. As originally written, the law would
have stripped existing federal Medicaid funding to any state that didn’t
participate. But following a 2012 ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court, states were
given the option to refuse the expansion while maintaining existing funding.
Instead, they’d only be giving up the smaller pile of federal money that would
have gone to the new Medicaid population…..

Low percentages of 'nonwhite' police
officers is not a major national problem as New York Times suggests
- The New York Times has an interesting story on the
divergence between the percentage of white residents and the percentage of
whites in a municipality’s police force. That divergence was, as you may
recall, particularly large in the case of Ferguson, Mo. There’s an argument to be made
that it would be good public policy to increase the number of blacks on the
police force in a locality with an increasing black population, particularly
because — although the Times writers are chary of noting this fact, well known
to just about every American — blacks are far more likely to commit crimes and
to be victims of crimes than other Americans. In those circumstances, it’s
helpful if police are able to interact freely and comfortably with those whom
they are trying to protect and wrongdoers they are trying to deter or
apprehend.
